1. Compared with traditional perioperative care,
fast-track (FT) perioperative care for laparoscopic
surgery for colorectal cancer resulted in faster
clinical recovery, reduced morbidity, less stress
response, and better-preserved cell-mediated
immunity.
2. FT perioperative care was an independent predictor of shorter total postoperative hospital stay.
