- In patients with post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder (PTLD), Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-specific CD8+ polyfunctional T cells were limited at 24 months after diagnosis, despite clinical remission.
- In patients with PTLD, the frequency of potent degranulating CD56dimNKG2A+KIR− NK cells diminished from diagnosis to clinical remission.
- In patients with PTLD, plasma EBV viral loads were weakly correlated with blood tacrolimus levels. Prolonged immunosuppression may result in suboptimal immune control of EBV.
