- The 13-item Chinese version Weight-Related Eating Questionnaire has good reliability and validity to assess Chinese adults’ psychological aspects of eating behaviour including routine restraint, compensatory restraint, susceptibility to external cues, and emotional eating.
- This instrument can be used to identify the underlying psychological aspects of eating behaviour associated with overeating and obesity so that effective educational and environmental strategies can be designed to reduce the obesity epidemic.
