“Anticoagulation for stroke prevention in elderly patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation: what are the obstacles?” (December 2016;22:608-15). On page 608 (left column, line 2), the sentence should have read “The prevalence tends to increase with age with 1.7% in people aged 60-64 years increasing to 17.8% in those aged ≥85 years.1” rather than “The prevalence tends to increase with age with an incidence of approximately 5% in people aged <65 years increasing to 17.8% in those aged >85 years.1” as printed. On page 612 (right column, line 1), the sentence should have read “Japanese studies and their registry data also support the lower INR target and have recommended INR of 1.6 to 2.6 for AF patients of ≥70 years in their AF management guideline.37” rather than “Japanese studies and their registry data also support the lower INR target and have recommended INR of 1.6 to 2.5 for AF patients of >70 years in their AF management guideline.3” as printed.
