Splanchnic aneurysms

Splanchnic aneurysms are rare but lethal events. Three cases demonstrating different types of splanchnic aneurysms are presented. The natural history, clinical presentation, investigations and modalities of treatment for splenic artery aneurysm, hepatic artery aneurysm, and superior mesenteric artery aneurysm are discussed.
